If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that also work for art. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so the other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have huge trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write. The same goes for extremely detailed prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. A prompt should not be a plot outline. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

If you don't want to post your email address here, just fill in the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address. Please sign up with an email address which you check regularly so I can reach you.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by March 16th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to EVERY email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Also, either use a beta reader or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. I have neither the time nor the patience to proofread every single fic before posting it. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, please contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Any other questions, comments, suggestions, problems? You can ask in the comments or PM me. Please read the FAQ first, though, maybe your question has already been answered there.

Have you read (all) the books? Have you seen the show? Do you have any book vs. show preferences? Read all of the books, seen the show, and prefer book canon or a blend.

What kind of gift can you make? Fic.

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Catelyn, Ned, Stark kids, Margaery, Lysa, Edmure, Brandon, Lyanna, Jaime, Cersei, Brienne, Roslin. Pairings-wise - Catelyn/Ned, Sansa/Margaery, Edmure/Roslin, Lyanna/Rhaegar, Lysa/Petyr, Jon/Sansa (assuming R+L=J), Jaime/Sansa. Other background characters/pairings are okay but I’m not sure how well I could do them justice as the focus of a story.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: I can't write Greyjoys, Boltons, Martells, Stannis and company, or Essos-based characters (excepting possibly Daenerys in a future-fic scenario) in any major character roles. Also, no Catelyn/Petyr beyond his canon obsession, and no Ned/Ashara or Catelyn/Tywin.

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw? I’m pretty flexible as long as I’m comfortable with the characters I’m writing about - angst, fluff, AU (canon-divergent or modern), character studies, whatever. I’m not comfortable writing graphic violence or especially kinky sex, though.

What kind of gift do you want to receive? Fic.

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Catelyn, Ned, Stark kids (especially Robb, Sansa, and Arya), Margaery, Edmure, Brandon, Lyanna, Lysa, Jaime, Brienne, Roslin. Pairings-wise - Catelyn/Ned, Margaery/Sansa, Edmure/Roslin, Lyanna/Rhaegar, Jon/Sansa (assuming R+L=J), Cersei/Sansa, Jaime/Sansa.

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about: Greyjoys, Boltons, Martells, Stannis and company, Essos-based characters (though references and minor roles are okay). Also, no Catelyn/Petyr beyond his canon obsession, and no Ned/Ashara or Catelyn/Tywin.

What genre of fic/art do you generally want? I’m not especially picky - whatever fits the prompt and characters best! Gen, het, or femslash are preferred for this fandom. Beyond that, I like angst, fluff, introspective pieces, and H/C, and am totally open to AUs.

Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:

1. A story exploring the idea of Sansa as a lesbian in the ASOIAF universe. Young Sansa being confused/afraid, older Sansa figuring out what's going on, relationships with girls, relationships with men that don't make her happy the way she dreamed of as a kid - whatever you'd like! Any pairings are fine, but if you're going to make one of them endgame or the focus of the story (as opposed to a more gen Sansa fic), I'd prefer Sansa/Margaery.

2. Harry Potter-fusion AU where all of the great houses are prominent pureblood families. Give me political tension! Focus on the Starks and Tullys and/or Lannisters preferred, with the Rebellion-era generation as the main characters (as students or adults, doesn't matter.) Preferably set during wartime (Grindelwald, maybe?), or at least in a setting that highlights the different houses' belief systems re: bloodlines. (Also, I would prefer the Rebellion generation, but the exception to that is Slytherin!Margaery and Ravenclaw!Sansa in a star-crossed lovers situation.)

3. Modern AU where Ned takes in his young nephew following his sister’s death. As he begins to navigate the new world of single parenthood, he finds unexpected guidance and friendship in Jon’s teacher, Miss Tully. (Reprompted from the kink meme, I just REALLY LOVE awkward modern Ned/Cat.)

4. Roslin bonding with the Starks/Tullys. Can be either canon-based future fic where she meets Sansa, Arya, and/or the Blackfish, or an AU where she marries Robb.

5. Wild card - anything Catelyn or Sansa centric featuring other preferred characters (Arya/Brienne/Lyanna/Margaery/Robb/whoever, take your pick), or anything with Catelyn/Ned or Margaery/Sansa as the main pairings.

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: Character bashing, gratuitous violence, or graphic kinks (no watersports, bloodplay, etc.)

Are you willing to pinch hit? No, sorry.
