(This is just a theoretical question; if you say yes, it only means that I may ask for your help if I need to. You can still say no then if you don't have the time or don't like the prompts.)

If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that also work for art. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so the other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have huge trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write. The same goes for extremely detailed prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. A prompt should not be a plot outline. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

If you don't want to post your email address here, just fill in the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address. Please sign up with an email address which you check regularly so I can reach you.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by March 16th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to EVERY email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Also, either use a beta reader or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. I have neither the time nor the patience to proofread every single fic before posting it. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, please contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Any other questions, comments, suggestions, problems? You can ask in the comments or PM me. Please read the FAQ first, though, maybe your question has already been answered there.

Have you read (all) the books? Have you seen the show? Do you have any book vs. show preferences?
I’ve read and seen it all. I love both, with a slight preference for the book’s characterizations and the show’s physical features.

What kind of gift can you make?
Fic!

Preferred characters and/or pairings:
Characters: Lannisters, Greyjoys, Boltons, Baratheons, Sansa, Oberyn
Pairings: Sansa/pretty much anyone but extra squees for Stannis, Jaime, Oberyn, and Theon; Theon/anyone ‘cept romantic Asha, Asha/Stannis

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about:
“Will not” – eh, nothing really. I prefer not to write fics centering on protagonist!Dany, Jon Snow, Essosi players, or Sansa/Littlefinger, but nothing particularly makes me squeal “no wai!”

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw?
I can write pretty much any genre and pairing, though I’m better with action and character studies than pure smut. Darkfic and squickiness are a-ok. Also, anything fairytalish.
Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you?
I’m not wild about modernAUs or crossovers (apart from fairytale/mythology retellings). I’m not the most talented at stories that are pure smut.

What kind of gift do you want to receive?
Fic!

Preferred characters and/or pairings:
Greyjoys, Lannisters, Boltons; Baratheons, Sansa, Stannis, Davos, Jaime, Theon, Asha
Pairings: Sansa/Stannis, Jaime, Oberyn, Sandor, Tywin, Theon; Asha/Stannis, Thramsay

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about:
whitesaviorJesus!Dany (madqueen!Dany is fine), romantic Sansa/Tyrion or Sansa/Littlefinger.

What genre of fic/art do you generally want? (Gen, slash, het, angst, fluff, romance, smut, character studies, AUs, future fics etc.)
It’s all good! Particular favorites are character studies, gallows humor, dark stuff sans wangst. Sexin’ is great but I prefer if it’s rooted more in characterizations than erotic gymnastics.

Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:
1. Sansa/Stannis; Sansa is the one who saves Stannis, through guile, diplomacy, surprise support, whatever (just not warriorqueen!Sansa please). They can be in a relationship already but bonus points if they’re not. The level of romance is up to the writer, as is what/who she saves him from.
2. Sansa/Theon. Ned took Theon to King’s Landing along with Sansa and Arya. After Ned’s execution, Theon and Sansa are both captives. What happens? Can be romantic or platonic. Bonus points if this affects the political landscape in unexpected ways. Other Greyjoys are totally welcome but by no means a must. Most interested in the character development.
3. A Westeros retelling of Little Red Riding Hood that’s not a Sansa/Sandor story (at least in the sense of Sandor being the wolfy). Bonus points if it’s Angela Carteresque.
4. Sansa is somehow removed/rescued from King’s Landing. Only to find Robb has betrothed her to Roose Bolton. Thinking of something creepy/moody/possibly a ray of weird cuteness more so than pure angsty (though some angst is totes fine). Sexin’ is fine as long as there’s lots of characterization.
5. Jaime never learns that the Arya shipped to Winterfell is a fake. Brienne is off searching for Sansa so he goes north with a small retinue to retrieve the younger Stark sister, by quasi-honest or duplicitous means. Roose is suspicious the Lannistes are up to something, Jaime’s getting uneasy, and Ramsay’s…Ramsay. Thus begins a night of mind games, danger, quick thinking, and assorted WTFery. Theon and Jeyne are wild cards. I don’t have any “absolutely not!” buttons so go where your inner psycho leads, but I’m craving something closer to House on Haunted Hill and/or The Shadow Over Innsmouth than Hostel.

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art:
1st person, radical OOC, character bashing, modern!AU

Are you willing to pinch hit?
Ja! Surprise is the spice of life!

I'm loving the Sansa/Roose prompt. Something tells me that if it would be a bit like Roose/Walda, with less crackiness.

:-D I can't help it, I want a well-written fic of Sansa and Roose interacting.

I'm just imagining Cat telling Robb he's not getting any birthday or Christmas gifts for the next 10 years XD.
