If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that also work for art. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so the other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have huge trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write. The same goes for extremely detailed prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. A prompt should not be a plot outline. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by March 16th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to EVERY email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Also, either use a beta reader or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. I have neither the time nor the patience to proofread every single fic before posting it. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, please contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:

1) Stannis/Jon or Stannis/Davos or Stannis/Sansa: post-war, Stannis has won the throne and someone tries to assassinate him. Up to you whether he is injured or just shaken up, up to you how he survived the assassination attempt (sheer luck? did his Kingsguard save him?). I mostly want to see Stannis' reaction to the whole thing as well as the person of your choice (Jon or Davos or Sansa or all three of them) fretting/taking care of him/feeling guilty for not being better at protecting him (in Jon's case, mostly) or however else they react to almost losing him.

2) Stannis/Jon. AU in which Jon squires for Stannis. Instead of sending Jon to the Wall, Ned sends Jon South to become a squire, and Robert thinks it would be hilarious to let Ned's bastard squire for Stannis. I'd love to see some development from them being unhappy about the arrangement (Stannis feels insulted, Jon is lonely and feels unwelcome) to them learning to trust and rely on each other. Slash with grown-up/knighted Jon would be appreciated, but it isn't necessary if it doesn't fit into your fic.

3) Stannis/Jon. Stannis takes Jon to see Storm's End. I suppose this would work best in a post-war fic with Kingsguard!Jon, but if you prefer a different scenario, that's fine by me.

4) Victarion in his younger years. His childhood/youth with his brothers. Or going reaving with Balon when they were young. Or his relationship with Euron over the years. Or something about his first wives. Or the first Greyjoy Rebellion. Anything about pre-canon!Vic. Bonus if you include Balon/Victarion (or creeptastic Victarion/Euron, or troll!Aeron hitting on Victarion, or even Victarion/Asha if you write something set shortly before the books happen).

5) Victarion/Asha, ruling the Iron Islands together post-canon. How did that happen? What does their shared rule look like? I'd love if you also included some smut or sexual tension in this because we all know the Greyjoys are for porn.

6) Aegon I./Orys Baratheon. I would love to read a background fic about Aegon/Orys: how they first met (I doubt they were raised together), how they grew so close, how they became friends and lovers. But if you'd rather write something about their relationship later on in their lives, I won't complain. (In that case, I will love you forever if you also include Aegon's relationship with his sons and/or Maegor/Aenys (one-sided or not, consensual or not, with Aegon's knowledge or not). Or just a fic about Maegor or Maegor/Aenys, that's cool, too.) I'm fine with Aegon's sisters appearing, but I'd rather the focus of the story wasn't on them.

--> Feel free to combine these prompts in any way you like, or to include any of the pairings and characters I like even if I didn't explicitly mention them in the prompt.

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: While I love some of the historical Targaryens, I don't care for House Targaryen by the time ASOIAF happens, so please no secret Targaryens (no R+L=J), Targaryens and/or dragons saving Westeros from the Others etc. I hate what the show has done with Stannis, so please stick to the books. Actually that goes for all characters, including their looks. And I unironically love Victarion, no bashing the poor guy please.
