What kinds of feedback can you give? (spelling, grammar, style, characterisation etc.) I can do grammar, style, characterisation, general plotting, scene blocking, the works. The only think I'm bad at is distinguishing British and American spelling and idiom -- I go back and forth myself too often.
Are there any fics (genres, characters, pairings) you refuse to beta read? Nope. I can usually separate "this doesn't work" from "this isn't my cup of tea."
Anything else? I like the author to let me know what they want from me, to avoid too much stress on all sides; I came into fandom when machete beta was pretty common, but that can be scary for people.

Anything else? I read quickly so I would be able to get it back to the author fairly fast. Also, I don't mind reading work multiple times if the author wants to fiddle around with it after they get my notes.
