The deadline is in about two weeks, on Sunday, March 16th. Please reply to this post to let me know whether you will be able to finish your fic/art in time or not. If you have to drop out, please tell me now so I can find a pinch-hitter. Don't wait until the deadline to drop out, and don't just disappear without a word. If you think you will need a small extension, please tell me as soon as possible, but I'd appreciate if everyone could at least try to meet the deadline. If you don't reply to this post in the next few days, you'll get an e-mail from me. Obviously you don't have to reply to this post if you've already sent me your fic.

A few things to remember when you send your fic/art to me:

1) Include a header in the following format:
Title:
Author/Artist:
For:
Pairings/Characters:
Rating:
Words:
Warnings: (don't forget to warn for spoilers)
Prompt:
(Summary, if the prompt was rather vague)

2) Fics should ideally be sent in as text files (.txt). doc, docx and odt are also fine.

3) Fic writers: please include html coding for italics etc. Make sure your formatting works and that there is a BLANK LINE between every two paragraphs, i.e. that you hit enter twice after every paragraph, not just once. You have to do this manually. It is not enough to tell Word to leave a bigger space between paragraphs because that will not show up when your fic is copied&pasted on LJ. I know that should be obvious, but there's always someone who forgets about it and it makes fics pretty hard on the eyes.

4) Your fic should be beta read or at least spell-checked very thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who can beta for you, please contact someone from this list.

Just a thing: when I signed up I said I'd be up for pinch hitting, but I later realized that I won't be able to post starting next sunday (the 9th). Bottom line, I'm still up for pinch hitting, but I'll only be able to send it to you this week OR after the 21st - a few days after the deadline. If you don't mind a slight delay, that's hit.

Yeah, I realised after a point that my argument seemed deeply faulted since, if I'm giving up my life and job anyway, I might as well get what I want first. Damn hot Baratheon dude and his handsome charms. Seriously, on Thursday, I walked into a wall when I was trying to leave his office because he was being so charming at me, and then the files I'd put on his desk fell off and I had to go pick them up like a cliched romcom klutz and he grinned at me and gave me a thumbs up, the freakishly handsome dork. And yesterday he was watching me put the folders back on his desk again and said "don't let them fall" and winked at me. Both times, he was talking to important work people, and both times he took time out to be all charm-offensive at me. What a jerk who has a picture of his wife and kids on his desk, what. a. jerk. (;

Clearly, my dear, we should make everyone watch Body of Lies so they get it, too.

I know, right? WHAT KIND OF A JOB WOULD DO A THING LIKE THAT? I should complain to my employers and to the many ethics boards to whom I am bound.
