Feedback post & poll
So, everything has been posted. I hope everybody liked their gift. The masterlist is [Poll #1824064][Poll #1824065]
Independently from the exchange, I will post a new comment fic meme tomorrow. It was a huge success last time, and I thought it would be nice to do this again, just to tide us over to the next exchange, whenever that will be. For those of you who weren't around yet for the first comment fic meme: here's the masterlist of all fills from last time (and there were about 30 ficlets written, so it's worth having a look if you missed it).
Again: thanks to everybody for writing all these wonderful fics, drawing gorgeous pictures, and generally making this exchange so much fun. I hope we can do this again soon. :)

I wouldn't even mind that much if people dropped out if they just TOLD me, rather than string me along and make me wait because I keep hoping that they'll reply to my mails etc. I don't think I'm that scary a mod that people should think they can't talk to me if there's a problem.
I'm with you on team "LET'S DO THIS AGAIN RIGHT AWAY". ;) Let's see how the vote goes (and, yes, asoiaf_exchange will be fun, too, there can never be too many exchanges :D).

You're totally not a scary mod - the only scary mod I ever experienced on LJ was, in all places, a fashion community. I think that people feel ashamed that they can't finish a commitment, but ignoring it only makes things worse and potentially screws over the giftee. I don't understand people though.

I don't know, I try to keep my emails friendly when I ask disappearing people about their fic, telling them that it's okay if they need a bit more time, so they don't feel like I'm going to rip them to shreds for being a few days late. But it doesn't really seem to help. I understand feeling bad about not finishing one's assignment, but they should feel so, so much worse for just disappearing and leaving me barely enough time to organise a pinch hit (whom I then have to harass about finishing in time).
