Two more questions: do you want me to post a list of unfilled prompts like the last two times? I'm willing to do it, but I was under the impression that nobody really cared last time. Let me know if you want it.

Second: after the first two exchange rounds we had a comment fic meme here on this comm. Back then there was no very active kinkmeme yet, but now that there is one ... do you still want to do this? I'd love to have another because the last two were so much fun, but nothing is sadder than a fic meme in which nobody participates. So, comment fic meme yes or no?

Firstly, thanks for organizing, great exchange! :)

I just have one minor feedback to give, and that's not even something one can do anything about it. I thought that the prompts and requests in general were very fic centric and not very fanart friendly, so as a fanartist that's a bit difficult or sad. But well, if people generally prefer to receive fic, it's ok I guess. Still it would be nice to have more fanartists to participate and more fanart requests in general :)

Thank you to our mod-with-the-mostest for running such a fabulous exchange! :D I, of course, voted 'right away'. XD July and early August are my slowest times at work, so I'd have time to work on an exchange! (Plus, I'm greedy - I want more shiny things for my own, as well!)

I don't think it's necessary to post a list of unfilled prompts, personally. Thinking back to my sign-up, some I'll want to reprompt next time and some I'll want to dump for ideas I thought of that I like better. XD The kink meme is on a Fill week this week, so if you started a comment meme sometime this week I'm sure there'd be some action, especially since not everyone who does the exchange is over at the kink meme. I would DEFINITELY check it out, though I'm having a bit of a slow month writing wise. So I vote no to unfilled prompts, yes to comment meme, in short.

Ok, one counsel for next time: send the fics to the giftees at the beginning. Still ok to post one a day to the comm, but it's unfair that certain people get theirs in the first few days and others only at the end.

When will the comment fic meme begin? Screw the kinkmeme, it has thousands of comments, who has time to even read them through? Ours is better.

I think that it would be nice to have a comment fic meme over here. Like juno_chan said, the kink meme isn't posting this week and it seems like there has been such a huge response in the past.

I'm probably going to have to take a hiatus on the next exchange, but no feedback other than the fact that this was amazing, well-run and well-organized as always.

Well, of course I can't make more fanartists participate or force people to ask for fanart, but what I can do is ask people who say that they would like either fic or art to give me both fic and art prompts. Rather than only fic prompts with an "oh I like art too" add-on. Would that help?

It makes me so happy when people are that enthusiastic. ^^

I used to do the unfilled prompt list because I felt it was such a pity that all these great prompts would just be forgotten, but it's an awful lot of work if no one cares. So I guess I won't do it anymore unless someone absolutely wants it.
I'm glad there's interest in a comment fic meme. I guess I'll post that tomorrow or so. :)

Mhm, that kind of defeats the whole waiting&surprise purpose, though, no? I know it sucked for you because you got your fic very late this exchange and in the last one, I usually try to have some variation there, but unfortunately both this and last time your writer disappeared at the last minute and I had to find a pinch hitter. :/ Maybe if two fics are posted a day, so the waiting time would be less long? I could see if that's possible.

I'd be all for thousands of comments on our comment fic meme, I'm jealous of the big kinkmeme. ;) I guess I'll post it tomorrow or so.

I actually considered that when I saw the number of participants, but the main reason I didn't do it is because of the pinch hits. If I post more fics a day, the general posting time is shorter and I'll have to find pinch hits who can write something in one week or so. I'm not sure how many people would be willing to do that. And I don't really want to have a two-week-break between the deadline and the beginning of posting like asoiaf-exchange.

Yay! I love the comment fic meme here. It just feels like there is a broader variety of characters prompted, and more things tend to get filled.

I plan to spam it with Greyjoy requests. ;)

Personally, I love this option. Last time I said fic only, but after seeing the beautiful art created next round I'd definitely be open to both - but I would still probably put down fic-based prompts if I were only allowed five prompts total. XD

Then I'll ask people to put down 3-5 fic prompts and 3-5 art prompts if they're okay with both. Unless they post prompts that work for both fic and art.

I just wanted to say thank you for running the exchange! As a first time participant I was a tad nervous going in (it's always a bit frightening to wade into a new fandom, I think), but this was such a positive experience and the exchange was extremely well run. I'm looking forward to the next round! <3

Thank you. :) Don't worry about it. You dropped out in the most social, friendly way possible, contacting me weeks before the deadline. There's nothing wrong with that. But there were other people who told me on the day of the deadline that they needed another week to finish their fic and then I never heard from them again. That's just so selfish and dickish towards both the person they were supposed to write for and the pinch hitter who doesn't have much time to write something instead.
