The deadline is in two weeks, on Wednesday, April 3rd. Please reply to this post to let me know how your fic/art is going and whether you will be done in time or not. If you have to drop out, please tell me as soon as possible so I can find a pinch hitter. Don't wait until the deadline to drop out, and don't just disappear without a word. If you think you will need a small extension, please tell me, but I'd appreciate if everyone could try to meet the deadline. If you don't reply to this post in the next few days, you'll get a pesky e-mail from me.

For the fic writers among you: please include html coding for italics etc. in your file. I would prefer to get your fic as a text file, but if for some reason that's a problem, doc, docx or odt are also fine. Just please make sure that your formatting works properly. (If you use Word, make sure that you actually have a blank line between two paragraphs.) Your fic should also be beta-read or at least spell-checked very thoroughly. We have a list of beta-readers here, if you don't know anyone who can beta for you.

For both fic and art, please include a header:

Right. Thanks for reminding me of my duty. I actually double-checked that I hadn't disabled comments or something like that. But nope, this is just the zombie round of the exchange. ;) Or other people have a life and don't compulsively check LJ.

I'm getting there. I'm at the half way point and am rocking in at about 2200 words so far. If things go to plan, I should be on track to finish, but I confess it'll likely be down to the wire! I won't be dropping out though.

Oh, thanks for your so-called "pesky" e-mail, I didn't even see the check-in post. But yeah, I'm about halfway done on mine (might even do a second fill, the prompts were really good). So, yes, I should be done by the deadline!

Okay, I'm glad to hear that. If you do end up writing a second fill, you have of course more time for that. I could just post your extra fic at the very end of the exchange, so that would give you a couple of weeks more to finish fic #2. :)
