If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write (and similarily, I will have trouble finding a recipient for you if you only offer to write/draw pairings or characters that nobody requested). The same goes for extremely detailed prompts and crossover prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by August 2nd. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

I've read all the books, including The World of Ice and Fire and the Dunk & Egg stories, and I'm completely caught up with the show. I love both equally. Well, okay, I like the books slightly more, but I wouldn't kick the show out of bed.

What kind of gift can you make?

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Arya, Bran, Rickon, Sansa, Jon, Satin, Edd, Brienne, Bronn, Jaime (probably), any of the Sand Snakes, Oberyn, Willas, Euron, Victarion, Theon, Asha, Jaqen, Syrio, Sandor, Alchemist!Pate, most of the Oldtown crew (minus Sam), Tywin... Pairings include, but are not limited to, Arya/Bran/Rickon/Jon in whatever combination, Jon/Satin (/Edd), Brienne/Jaime, show!Bronn/Jaime, show!Bronn/Tyene, Oberyn/Willas, Oberyn/Satin, Willas/Satin, Euron/Asha, Arya/Jaqen, Arya/Syrio, Arya/Sandor, Sansa/Sandor. I could probably do Trystane/Myrcella. And Alchemist!Pate/Alleras sounds fascinating.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: Absolutely no Daenerys or Stannis. And I can't do Jaime/Sansa or Jon/Sansa because I'm just bad at it. Margaery and Cersei are both difficult for me to write too. Also, no Ramsay/Theon or Ramsay/Sansa.

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw? I like to play things a little dark. Which isn't to say I can't do fluff, but it seems to take me a bit longer to do anything overly sweet, and then it really depends on the characters. Smut, dark intrigue, slight horror, psychological stuff, taboo relationships... I don't mind writing torture or blood & gore. I also don't mind writing underage or incest. Basically, throw your weird stuff at me and I will give it my best shot.

Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you? I could probably do historical stuff maybe. Anything I can reference World of Ice and Fire or Dunk & Egg for, I think I could manage. And while I'd be excited to write something I've never written before, I have no problems writing... you know Arya/Jaqen or Arya/Jon or something that I'm well known in the fandom for writing a lot.

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about: No Stannis, Melisandre, or Daenerys. Though I'm not sure how they'd work in any of the above pairings, but just to be safe.

1. As Arya is killing Meryn Trant, he reveals that he didn't kill Syrio - the man managed to pick up a fallen soldier's sword and defend himself long enough to incapacitate Meryn (who's not as tough as he talks), and escape. This sets Arya off on a quest to find her former dancing master, and she begins with his brother - Phario Forel. The two are eventually reunited, whether it turns romantic/sexual is up to the author.

2. Fluffy Jon/Satin, something involving that huge black fur cloak Jon wears. Could work for art or fic.

3. Arya and Rickon go North to retrieve Bran. Bonus if the Children are super surprised that they have three greenseers in their presence. Double bonus if Bloodraven tells Arya she reminds him of someone. This could be adapted for art with Arya and Rickon staring up at the majestic Three-Eyed Raven, and Bran sort of sitting next to him.

4. Satin is Oberyn's son, Willas looks out for him. And sometimes, euphemistically, "looks out for him", since he looks like his father in places, before Satin is sent to the Wall (the reasons for which are up to the discretion of the author, but I do like a good scandal). Could also be art, if you just wanted to do something with Willas and Satin.

5. Anything with Jaqen finding out about Arya's abilities to warg.

6. And if there's any pairings above that intrigue you that don't have prompts here, particularly the Bronn ones because I love Bronn's snark, go for it because I didn't list anything there that I wouldn't love to read or see in art. Or, like, show!Bronn singing on the way back to King's Landing and show!Myrcella thinking it's the best thing ever while everyone else is just sort of "Ugh!" at it, or show!Myrcella asking show!Bronn for stories and he keeps telling her increasingly more lewd ones and show!Jaime is like "Stop that, you're corrupting my 'niece'!".

Things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: The usual, you know. No noncon/dubcon, no bodily fluids that aren't spit, sweat, or blood, no pregnancy of any kind, and I'd prefer if the characters didn't kill each other in the end. And no dragons.

Are you willing to pinch hit? Tentatively, yes. If I have a week or a bit more than that to get it done, I think I could manage.
