A Song of Ice and Fire - Fanfic and Fanart Exchange

If you repost your fic on AO3, you can add it to the got_exchange collection. Thanks to everyone who has participated by writing, drawing, beta-reading, and commenting, and a special thank you to yaakov and leapylion3 for pinch-hitting. I hope that everyone enjoyed participating and liked the gift they received.

I'm going to figure out a schedule for the next round soon, but I'm thinking that we could fit in another round this year, maybe with sign-ups in early October and a deadline in late November - that way everything should be done before Yuletide and various Secret Santa deadlines in December. Does that sound okay?

Any feedback and suggestions are, as always, welcome. And again, I'm really sorry about the messy posting towards the end.

The deadline is today. Unless we've agreed on an extension, you should send in your fic/art by the end of the day. If you need a few more days to finish your work, please let me know.  If, for whatever reason, you won't be able to finish your fic/art at all, tell me as well so I can find a pinch-hitter.

Posting starts tomorrow with one fic/art per day. Usually I switch to two posts per day once everyone has sent in their work. Please do not post your fic or art elsewhere before it has been posted here.

And the usual request to all members of the community, not just the participants: please comment. Nobody expects you to read fics you're not interested in, but if you read something anyway and enjoyed it, it doesn't take that much time and effort to write a short comment to tell the author or artist you liked their work. And it should go without saying that you are expected to leave a proper comment on the fic/art made for you; not thanking the person who spent so much time writing/drawing something for you is incredibly rude.

I hope everyone enjoyed working on their fic/art and that you will all like your gift.

Sign-ups for round 13 close tomorrow (Friday), so if you want to participate and still haven't signed up, you should do so soon. As always, you can sign up as long as there isn't a big red "Sign-ups are closed" on the sign-up post. You can sign up here. You can also still sign up as a beta reader for other participants.

You will receive an email with your assignment on Sunday (or Monday at the very latest).

If you're willing to beta read for other writers, please fill in this form. And if you need a beta reader, don't be shy about contacting people from this list. They signed up because they want to help.
