Check-in post

The deadline is in two weeks, on Sunday, July 7th. Please reply to this post to let me know whether you will be done in time or not. If you have to drop out, please tell me now so I can find a pinch-hitter. Don't wait until the deadline to drop out, and don't just disappear without a word. If you think you will need a small extension, please tell me, but I'd appreciate if everyone could at least try to meet the deadline. If you don't reply to this post in the next few days, you'll get a pesky e-mail from me.

A few things to remember when you send your fic/art to me:

1) Include a header in the following format:
Title:
Author/Artist:
For:
Pairings/Characters:
Rating:
Words:
Warnings: (don't forget to warn for spoilers)
Prompt:
(Summary, if the prompt was rather vague)

2) Fics should ideally be sent in as text files (.txt). doc, docx and odt are also fine.

3) Fic writers: please include html coding for italics etc. Make sure your formatting works and that there is a BLANK LINE between every two paragraphs, i.e. that you hit enter twice after every paragraph, not just once. This will make reading your fic a lot easier on the eyes when it's posted on LJ.

4) Your fic should be beta read or at least spell-checked very thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who can beta for you, please contact someone from this list.

*checks in* I have the entire thing planned and I started, but I hadn't counted that I have my last final on July 8th because dates weren't out when I signed up *sigh* I think I can finish it next week if it doesn't get longer than intended, but if I don't and I might end up needing a couple days more I'll let you know before next Sunday.

Should be done on time with one fic, and the other within about a week to 10 days after the deadline. I'm working on both simultaneously, and the pinch hit might actually be the one I finish first, as it's shaping up to be a bit shorter, but you'll definitely get one by the deadline!

Fic is all planned out and gearing up to get started on it in the next couple days (it's a whole process, lol). There shouldn't be any reason I won't be able to submit my gift on time, but if something comes up, I'll let you know.

I think I'll be done on time- I have a plan and it's started and everything- but I'm experiencing a very slow recovery from getting my wisdom teeth out and my writing's all over the place on these pain meds. Still think I'll be done on time, but I'll tell you if that changes.

Ouch, poor you. I hope you're feeling better soon. I understand completely if you need more time after that, just let me know.

Should definitely be done on time, possibly even a teensy bit earlier :D

And thanks a lot, I'm glad it's appreciated. The only thing that's really time-consuming is doing the assignments and deciding who will write for whom; the rest is not too much work. But thank you. :)
