Okay, then there should really be no problem at all. :)
I'm guilty of doing the whole doomed romance thing when it comes to Robert/Lyanna because I'm way more invested in them than in Rhaegar, but other than that I don't really care about teenagers in wuv, and I will never not be sad that there isn't more fic about Jon Arryn in particular because that guy was majorly important for a lot of things. But I get it, writing political stuff is a lot harder than just character interaction, I know that I'm personally terrible at really plotty things. There is some excellent fic about Stannis during the siege out there, btw. I wish there was more about the conquest of Dragonstone and the Greyjoy rebellion.
