If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that also work for art. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so the other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have huge trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write. The same goes for extremely detailed prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. A prompt should not be a plot outline. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by March 16th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to EVERY email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Also, either use a beta reader or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. I have neither the time nor the patience to proofread every single fic before posting it. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, please contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Have you read (all) the books? Have you seen the show? Do you have any book vs. show preferences?: read all the books except the novellas, seen all the show, I prefer book characterization when concerning Robb and Talisa vs Jeyne but for the rest I have no issues. (Though I'll probably leave more book-based prompts.)

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Jaime/Brienne, Robb/Theon, Jon/Sam, Sansa/Sandor, Davos/Stannis, Jon/Ygritte, Jon/Theon, Asha & Theon (gen or shippy, same), Ned/Ashara Dayne, Theon/Jeyne P.; any of those characters singularly. Characters not mentioned in the pairings: Jon Connington, Oberyn, the Blackfish, Bran, the Sand Snakes, Mance Rayder, wildlings/Wall people.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: characters: any Bolton, Freys, Gregor Clegane, Cersei, any Frey, Targaryens unless it’s Jon Connington/Rhaegar, Littlefinger, Melisandre, Greyjoys that aren’t Asha and/or Theon, I'm not overly interested in the Tyrells. I’m not great at femslash pairings generally but I could make exceptions. pairings: Jon/Daenerys, Jaime/Cersei (I can do it peripherally but not as the main one), Jaime/Sansa. Show-only prompts: please no Talisa-centered prompts or Robb/Talisa. (Jeyne Westerling is perfectly good.)

What kind of genres can you write my favorites are AUs, bittersweet angst and crack without redeeming qualities, but as long as it’s not in the next section I can work with whatever. Any genre/ratings are fine.

What genre of fic/art do you generally want? no preferences in regards of gen/het/slash. Any rating is fine. I won't say no to sexytimes but don't feel obliged. My main preferences are AUs (different setting or alternative canon – modern AUs are totally awesome too), amnesia fic, angst with hopeful endings and humor/crack. My bulletproof kink are consensual power play and crossdressing, but just go with whatever the prompts inspire. I'm easy to please. I'd rather not have a totally tragic ending, but if it's where the prompt brings you, feel free to go wherever.

part II - spoilers up to asos in the prompts

1. Robb/Theon, kissed by fire. (can be canon AU or canon fix-it or pre-canon or total AU I don't have preferences.)
2. Jon/Sam... anything really? I'm partial to post-series where they're sort of settled somewhere (idk, either lord commander/maester, or king/hand, or anything like that), but if you want to write modern AU where they share the same cupcake at Starbucks or idk something where everyone else at the Wall tries to get them to be together because they can't stand the UST anymore I'm not going to to say no. Honest as long as it's this ship I'm good.
3. Jaime/Brienne, post-series: they go to Essos or wherever and become the only two honest sellswords in the continent (meaning: they'll only take a job if it's for some honorable reason/if doing it is the knightly thing to do).
4. Post-series and possibly in a post-series environment where everyone has patched things up and no one who hasn't died yet is still alive as well: whichever Stark is in charge at Winterfell decides it's time to give Robb a proper funeral. All the surviving Starks + Jeyne W. + Jeyne P. + Theon should attend. Anyone else up to you. If it ends up with everyone getting royally drunk while telling stories about Robb Irish wakes style I won't say no but really as long as it's eventually cathartic I'm game.
5. wild card #1: western AU, any of the preferred characters/ships are fair game.
6. wild card #2: any of the preferred ships, not another soul could love you like my rotten bones do [x (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aRrcXH2IDo)] [x (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/gaslightanthem/thespiritofjazz.html)]
