If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that also work for art. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have huge trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write. The same goes for extremely detailed prompts and crossover prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by July 13th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to EVERY email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Also, either use a beta reader or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. I have neither the time nor the patience to proofread every single fic before posting it. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, please contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post. Don't be shy. They signed up because they want to help.

Preferred characters and/or pairings: All Starks, including pre-canon characters, especially Arya, Jon, and Rickon. Any northerners, Reeds, Tullys, Night's Watch, Martells, Daenerys, Varys, Team Dragonstone, Barristan, Margaery, Olenna, Brienne, Asha, Myrcella, Tommen.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: Anyone's fine as a side character, but I can't do things that focus on Cersei, Freys, Reek!Theon, Greyjoys in general besides Asha, or the Boltons.

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw? Gen, character study, family, friendship, future fic, politics, canon divergence AUs, fic set in the past. I could do a modern AU if there's some kind of trope to work with (resurrection, body swap, time travel, things like that) or if it's also a crossover AU (I could crossover with LOTR, Harry Potter, MCU, Narnia, Doctor Who, Supernatural... a lot of things actually.)

Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you? I can't write shippy fic. I can do things with minor pairings that aren't the main focus of the story, though.

1. The war has been over for years, and she left the Faceless Men soon after, but she can't bring herself to return to Winterfell alone. She waits at White Harbor with no real plan, maybe the vague hope that one of her siblings will arrive to meet with the Manderlys. And one day, Jon does.
2. Arya: Various things in Braavos accidentally triggering her memories of home, her siblings, her parents, etc
3. Myrcella/Trystane: Word reaches Dorne that Daenerys Targaryen has taken King's Landing and executed the bastard king - and now she's headed for Dorne. Trystane is worried that, without the name of Lannister or Baratheon to protect her, Myrcella will be executed, too. He goes behind his father's back to marry her so that the Martell name can protect her instead.
4. Jaime/Brienne Hogwarts AU: She plays for the Quidditch team. He did, too, until the accident took him out for the season. Now he's the commentator, and he uses this position to distract her during every. Damned. Game. (If he makes her lose the final, he is absolutely dead.)
5. Any and all Starks: Fic inspired by the song Least of My Kind (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORPDK6Xg_hw&feature=kp). (The lyrics in the video are wrong, though: here (http://www.echoschildren.org/CDlyrics/LEASTOF.HTML) are the right ones.)

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: No Sansa as Queen in the North. Sansa as regent for Bran or Rickon is fine, Sansa as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms is fine. No Jon on any kind of throne. No horribly tragic endings please? We have enough of that in the books.
