If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write (and similarily, I will have trouble finding a recipient for you if you only offer to write/draw pairings or characters that nobody requested). The same goes for extremely detailed prompts and crossover prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by November 29th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Pretty much any femslash ship. Margaery/Sansa, Catelyn/Brienne, Brienne/Sansa, Margaery/Brienne, Melisandre/Selyse, Dany/Irri/Jhiqui, Arya/Myrcella and any of the Sand Snakes shipped with girls are some favourites. Also Jon/Sam, Davos/Stannis, Theon/Robb, Robb/Jeyne W., Theon/Jeyne P., Oberyn/Ellaria, Renly/Loras, Grenn/Pyp, Bran/Jojen. In a general sense, I really love and am willing to write/read about: Starks, Tyrells, Martells + Sand Snakes, Asha&Theon, Summer Islanders, Team Dragonstone, Mormonts, the Night's Watch and Dany's khalasar. Also, after reading TWOIAF I'd really like to try my hand at some historical characters and settings.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT write about: No Sansa/dudes. (I'm not into most hetships in this fandom, alas.) No Boltons, Cleganes, or Petyr. Not interested in writing older Greyjoys and any Lannisters (excepting Cersei, Myrc and Tom) except as background characters. I won't be the best at Robert's Rebelion era stuff.

What kind of genres can you write? f/f, m/m, gen, etc. Porn is absolutely fine. I love writing romance, character studies, character histories (to some extent), angst (mostly of the variety that has some sort of happy/hopeful ending), FLUFF, all kinds of family relationships, canon divergent stuff, and I have a gigantic boner for modern AUs.

Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you? No rape/dubcon please. I'm not into heavy politics and really dark stuff (though I don't mind writing violence and angst). Super open to writing trans and nonbinary characters.

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about: Het, other than the aformentioned. Would prefer if no Boltons, Cleganes, or Petyrs were involved, and I don't care about older Greyjoys and Lannisters other than Cersei, Myrcella and Tommen.

What genre of fic/art do you generally want? All ratings fine; f/f, m/m and gen are all a-okay. I love when authors explore characters, their personalities and motivations. I also like missing scenes and what-ifs. Romance is wonderful, especially wooing and courtship. I'm all about the fluffy stuff. While I equally love angsty and serious stuff, I'd prefer a happy ending. Modern AUs are great. Tropey fic (undercover in a gay bar, we must pretend to be married, fairy tales, etc) make me giddy. Art-wise, I'm cool with pretty much anything! (Just no excessive gore.)

FIC

1. Margaery/Sansa - As a young girl, Margaery is sent to foster with the Starks (maybe Mace is out to get her betrothed to Robb?). Feelings develop, but for the wrong Stark.
2. Alayaya - Tell me a little about her life at the brothel and her relationship with her mother and the other girls. I'm mostly looking for female centric friendship, but I'd never say no to femslash. Little to no Tyrion involvement please.
3. Jon/Sam - Jon is Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, Sam is his Maester.
4. Any femslash ship - This song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYHRQmw4Jsg).
5. Oberyn/Loras - Something that they have in common, imo, is a love of family and fierce protectiveness of their sisters. They bond over that. (Or they could bond over something less profound, like, idk the shape of Renly's ass.)
6. Any of my preferred pairings/characters/families with these lyrics as inspiration: “Are you gonna make my funeral a happy one?” (Adapted from this song here (https://vimeo.com/36963811).)

ART

1. Brienne/Sansa/Margaery - cheek-kissing! The girls standing on their tip-toes or on objects to get to Brienne's cheeks would be pretty cute.
2. Robb/Theon - surreptitiously holding hands.
3. Alayaya - relaxing and reading while she has some downtime.
4. Jhogo, Aggo, Rakharo - wielding the weapons that Dany gifted them with (whip, bow, arakh). One of them, two of them, all three... however you like!
5. Tommen, Myrcella, Cersei - playing with kittens!
6. Anything cute with one of my preferred ships. :)

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: Rape/dubcon (mentioning/discussing them is fine). Gratuitous character torture porn/whumping, pwp, 1st person POV, lady-bashing.
