Deadline

The deadline is today. Unless we've agreed on an extension (or you've already sent in your fic/art, obviously), you should send me your fic/art by the end of the day. If there are any problems and you need a few more days, please let me know. Don't disappear at the last minute just because you were too shy to ask for an extension.

Posting starts tomorrow. Because of the large number of participants, I will be posting two fics (or drawings) per day, not just one like in the previous rounds. I hope nobody minds that change. I mostly didn't want anyone to have to wait over six weeks to see their gift.

And the usual request to all members of the community, not just the participants: please comment. That should go without saying, but unfortunately it doesn't. Of course nobody expects you to read fics you're not interested in, but if you read something anyway and you like it, please take a minute or two to tell the author (or artist) that you appreciate their work. It doesn't need to be long; short feedback is better than no feedback.If you can take ten minutes to read a fic, you can take another minute to write a comment. :) Thanks.

That was my modly nagging of the day. I hope that everyone enjoyed participating so far, and that everyone will like their gift. :)

Guess who needs an extension? Big surprise, am I right? I am so surprised at myself. I am shocked. I bet you are, too. But, yeah, I will get the fic to you in good time. In the meantime, feel free to set me any new and exciting deadline you choose (in fact, even if you said, 'no extension for you, you must do your duty and complete your task in good time, as ordered,' I could probably get it done by midnight - I just don't think that'd be the best fic ever).

HA! I KNEW YOU'D BE ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDED. And, heeeey, next time I will totally finish long before the deadline. (; It's hard to be mad at Tim/Raylan but I'm sure I could make you mad next exchange by giving you 4 Bloody Mummers prompts and a Jon/Janos Slynt hate!sex one. The new and exciting Wednesday sounds good though. Yep.

I'd tell you to write new prompts because being my Lady Hand does not include troll!prompt privileges. ;) Nah, the only way to make me mad when it comes to the exchange is by dropping out at the last minute. I'd even be mad at Tim for that (as if Tim would write fanfic). Next time you'll finish your fic before I even give you the assignment, that's how fast you'll be. ^^

Whilst I think it's a little sad that you are not willing to embrace the joy of troll!prompts, it is emminently responsible and Queenly of you to remind me of my place. (; (Also I am so going to do a troll!sign-up next exchange and only edit it at the last minute.) But never fear I would never drop out on you (and nor would Deputy Gutterson - because, whilst he snarks a good game, he's amazing at everything he does and would never leave you hanging when you really needed him). And, yes, totally, next time I'm gonna finish before you even send me the assignment. In fact, I will send in my fic the night you're finalising all the prompt assignments and ruin everything because it'll destroy your plans and cause you to have to redo it all. And I will be all "look at me, Linn, this time I'm early, aren't I great?" whilst you facepalm and probably make plans to murder me. ;D

Looking forward to your trolling. ^^ (And our dearest Deputy Gutterson probably has no idea what fanfic is. If he did, he'd write terrible self-inserts about himself and all his action movie heroes.) Even better, next time you're going to be so fast, you're going to write all the fics for everybody so the other participants will only receive gifts.

:D (Oh man, if Tim wrote fanfic, it would totally be like that. I mean, he already has experience making up self-insert stories involving marks, right?) That would be superhero-style awesome but I would actually love to do it! Would definitely solve the deadline problem and make a lot less work for everyone, am I right? (;

Piece of headcanon that really doesn't belong here, but whatever: Tim is the biggest Bruce Willis fan ever. Additional headcanon: Tim will start losing his hair fairly early and at some point shave it off. He thinks it makes him look like Bruce Willis, so he doesn't mind much.
If you're going to be a superhero, you need a stupid name, though. And a ridiculous costume.

Oh man, that is such cute headcanon. I bet Raylan notices and attempts to mock him for it and Tim is all "says the guy in the cowboy costume". ;D
I am all for the stupid superhero name and outlandish get-up. Bring it on! I feel like I should do some amazing feat first (maybe I could pinch hit for everyone? but hopefully there won't be too many drop outs this time around) but I guess I could start with the outfit... First I'll need a garish colour-scheme.

Yep. Tim would be so uncomfortable about losing his hair, but once he shaved it off he'll be all I LOOK LIKE BRUCE WILLIS I'M INVINCINBLE NOW.
I have pinch-hitters for all the people who already dropped out. Hoepfully there won't be any more (I feel like almost everyone has asked for an extension, so let's hope there won't be any last-minute disappearances). The outfit ... huh, something with orange or yellow or so.
