Give at least three and up to five prompts/ideas: (Please keep it general enough for your author/artist to be creative! It can be a scene you'd like to see (e.g. "Stark family reunion"), a pairing (plus maybe a little prompt or idea), a character (plus a prompt/idea), an idea for an AU (what if this or that had happened) etc. Also, please don't post three almost identical ideas - your author/artist should have something to choose from.)

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story: (if you hate unhappy endings, or dislike AUs, or hate certain fandom theories - anything that your author/artist should know about)

If you don't want to post your e-mail address here, just fill out the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address.


- I will send your assignment to you by e-mail, probably on September 3rd. Please make sure gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com doesn't end up in your spambox.


- Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com. The deadline is October 16th.


- If you don't want to sign up, but you'd like to participate in other ways, tell me. Mainly if you would be willing to beta read. And it would be great if you could promote this fic and art exchange in other communities. I will do so myself as well, but I'm not a member of every single ASOIAF community on LJ. ;) The more people participate, the more fic and art there will be. :)

What kind of gift can you make?

Fic and/or fanart? I can do fic and photoshop-based graphics, and I can/love to do fanmixes as well. No hand-drawings.

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Jaime/Brienne, Sandor/Sansa, Jon/Sam, Robb/Jon, Theon/Robb, Theon & Asha (if convincingly paired up I'm okay with shipping them), Davos/Stannis. Other characters other than the ones mentioned in the pairings: Tyrion, Jon Connington, Oberyn, the Sand Snakes, the Blackfish.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: Cersei, Littlefinger, Viserys/Targaryens generally, Ramsay Bolton, Gregor Clegane; and Theon if the prompt requires non-con action (I'll gladly tackle him otherwise). Any ships with said people. I'm also not sure I'd manage to do Dany or Arya well if they were protagonists.

What kind of genres can you write I'm usually a slash writer, but in ASOIAF I mostly ship het, and I'm okay with gen too, so whatever goes. I'm good at AUs and humor-ish/crack things. I can work with angst as well. High ratings/violence/sex scenes aren't a problem.

Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you? please no non-con prompts, death fics and no mpreg? That'd be it. Also, in the unlikely chances anyone asks for a Dark Tower series crossover, I'd kind of be on it like white on rice.

Fic and/or fanart? both would work! :D fanmixes would be lovely, too. Basically anything but wallpapers/icons will do.

Preferred characters and/or pairings: Jaime/Brienne, Sansa/Sandor, Jon/Sam, Robb paired with either Theon or Jon or Robb-centric gen, Theon & Asha (same as before - I don't really ship it but I could totally buy it), Stannis/Davos, Oberyn/anyone but the people I don't want, the Blackfish.

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about: Littlefinger (paired or not), Gregor Clegane (paired or not), Ramsay, Joffrey, Viserys.

What kind of fic/art do you generally want? my favorite genre is probably angsty/bittersweet stories with hopeful/sort of happy endings, but I also like AUs/humor/crack stuff, and I'll never say no to high ratings, but that's not necessary.

Give at least three and up to five prompts/ideas:

1. Post ADWD, Jaime and Brienne meet up with the Blackfish not long after the point where we left them. A grudging alliance happens in order to a) find Sansa, b) make Cat reason, not necessarily in that order.

2. Jaime/Brienne, something stressing gender issues (or lack of - maybe she's the one wearing the pants in their relationship and he loves it, or maybe she likes that he doesn't expect her to be a proper lady, or she's his champion in a trial, whatever you can think of).

3. Anything Jon/Sam. Really - I don't even have a proper prompt, but as long as they hook up someway I'll be happy.

4. Asha and Theon after ADWD.

5. GoT AU: Robb promised Bran that they'd go visit Jon on the wall. It happens. (Your choice if it's still in GOT or if you want to go totally AU with it.)

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story: generally: death fics/utterly bleak endings, non-con, mpreg and teeth-rotting fluff. Fandom-related: I don't really care for pairings made of people that haven't met in canon yet (IE Jon/Dany) and I don't really buy any theory floating around about some characters being secret Targaryens. If you go for ADWD Theon please don't have him and Jeyne hook up unless it's with endless complications and as angsty as it can get.


Are you willing to beta read for other writers? er, English is my second language so I'd probably need a beta myself, so I'd say nay.
