~
If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that also work for art. Either phrase your prompts in a way that they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than when they get fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."
If your sign-up form includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.
Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Try not to constrict your gifter too much, please. Also, please don't request five incredibly rare pairings or crazy AUs. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have huge trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have five prompts with crackships you just made up on the spot. ;) As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.
You can ask for other things than fanart or fanfic (like graphics, icons, videos, whatever), but I can't promise that someone will participate who can make them, so you should be okay with drawn art or fic. Similarily, if you can make graphics etc., you can tell me as well, but you should be able to produce either drawn art or fic because I can't be sure that someone will specifically ask for graphics etc.
If you don't want to post your e-mail address here, just fill in the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address.
I reply to EVERY email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it. Check your emails regularly so I can reach you.
Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by July 7th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear.
Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Also, please use a beta reader, or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. I have neither the time nor the patience to proofread every single fic before posting it. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, please contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post. Don't be shy. They signed up because they want to help. :)
Any other questions, comments, suggestions, problems? You can ask in the comments or PM me. :) Please read the FAQ first, though, maybe your question has already been answered there.

Date: 2013-05-09 03:31 pm (UTC)Have you read (all) the books? Have you seen the show? Do you have any book vs. show preferences? I've read all the books and have seen all episodes of the show. I generally prefer book canon and characterizations.
What kind of gift can you make?
Fic and/or fanart? Fic
Preferred characters and/or pairings:
Pairings: Renly/Loras, Sansa/Margaery, possibly Jaime/Brienne though that might end up more friendship-y than romantic.
Characters: Renly, Loras, Margaery, Sansa, Jaime, Brienne, most Tyrells, most Lannisters, most Starks.
I could also try writing gen/friendship fics for pretty much any grouping of the above characters (ie. Sansa+Brienne), or with any of the above characters and anyone that isn't mentioned on my do not want list below (ie. Loras+Daenerys).
Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: Greyjoys, Martells, Boltons, Freys, Varys, Littlefinger, Stannis, Melisandre, Catelyn, Sam, and characters or events that precede the books because I don't feel that knowledgeable/comfortable about them.
What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw? Gen, het, slash, and femslash are all fine. I like AUs (both modern and otherwise), hurt/comfort, gap-fillers, friendship fics, and pretty much any other genre other than non-con or mpreg.
Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you? I don't think so.
What kind of gift do you want to receive?
Fic and/or fanart? Fic
Preferred characters and/or pairings: Renly/Loras, Sansa/Margaery, Jaime/Brienne, gen or friendship for Sansa+anyone that isn't on my do not want list, Renly and Margaery friendship, gen/family/friendship fics about Tyrells, Starks, Lannisters. Any fic about any of the above characters on their own would be fine too, or other combinations of friendships (Sansa and Loras, Brienne and Renly, etc).
Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about: Greyjoys, Martells, Boltons, Freys, Varys, Littlefinger, Stannis, Melisandre, Catelyn, Sam.
What genre of fic/art do you generally want? I prefer happy endings, even if it's clear that it's only a temporary happiness because it is ASOIAF after all ;). I adore hurt/comfort, I love gen and/or friendship fics as well as romantic ones, and I enjoy both AUs and canon-compliant fics. Any rating from G to NC-17 is fine with me. I'm good with including other characters I didn't mention as long as they aren't on my do not want list.
Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:
1. Renly/Loras, the first time they visit Highgarden as a couple. I'd love to see a fic dealing with any or all of the following: How the various Tyrells react to the news, whether Loras and Renly tell them or if they figure it out on their own, how Renly deals with having to "meet the parents" (he's probably already met them by this point, but not under these circumstances), if Loras and Renly try to sneak off and make time for romance while at Highgarden (and whether they are successful or hindered by relatives that are somehow always underfoot).
2. Renly/Loras, friendly swordplay leads to more (this could be set during the events of the books or before, when they were still at Storm's End for example).
3. Sansa/Margaery, post-war (preferably happy) adventures in the Free Cities.
4. Sansa/Margaery, everyone notices how much Loras and Margaery look alike but that's not the reason why Sansa is falling in love with Margaery.
5. Jaime/Brienne, after the war they go to Tarth together. I'd be happy with either a gen/friendship or a romantic scenario.
6. Brienne and Renly, anything about their first meeting.
Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: No mpreg, non-con, or character death. I'd also prefer some kind of happy or hopeful ending. No unrelenting angst, please.
Are you willing to pinch hit? Maybe! It would depend on how much time I have, since I'm not the fastest writer.
