If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write (and similarily, I will have trouble finding a recipient for you if you only offer to write/draw pairings or characters that nobody requested). The same goes for extremely detailed prompts and crossover prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by August 2nd. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Read all the books, I've seen most of the show. Either is fine.

What kind of gift can you make? Only fic!

Stannis/Davos. Shireen/Devan. Beric/Thoros. SanSan. Arya/Gendry or Arya/Jaqen. Oberyn/Willas. Mel/Selyse. I love the idea of writing random characters meeting, or hooking up, who don't interact in canon. Characters: Sand Snakes and Seaworths, Shireen and the Dragonstone kids, anyone really. I'm not very strong with the Essos characters.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about:
Stannis/anyone but Davos. I can't do much with Petyr/Sansa or Jaime/Cersei.

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw?
Modern AU is awesome. Historical AU is awesome. Canon is just slightly less awesome but still works.

Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you?
I can't do much with crossovers because the likelihood is high that I've never seen the other show or movie. And I'm better at shippy stuff than gen/political stuff.

Stannis/Davos über alles. ;) Devan/Shireen and Beric/Thoros are my other faves. But honestly I like all pairings and characters except those listed below. As for characters, anyone from Stannis' arc such as Stannis, Davos, Melisandre, Selyse, Salladhor Saan, Marya, and every single Seaworth baby. I also love me some Sand Snakes.

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about:
Stannis/anyone but Davos or Selyse. Anything else you want to do is AOK.

What genre of fic/art do you generally want? (Gen, slash, femslash, het, angst, fluff, romance, smut, character studies, AUs, future fics etc.)
Slash is my lifeblood but I also like femslash, romance, angst, smut (soooo much smut), character studies, AUs, basically all of the above. I like weird writing styles and straightforward writing styles. I like when I can tell the writer enjoyed doing it. :)

Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:

Fic:

1. Stannis/Davos, their first time or their last time. Canon or AU.

2. Stannis loses several fingers due to frostbite/injury, awkward hands touching after reuniting with Davos. Canon.

3. Gilly's baby (can be show!verse or the baby she takes in the books or the baby at the Wall), growing up or grown up. Some ideas: Finding his mother and the man who was most important to her, finding out the his true parentage, interacting with other children of incest and bonding with them or fighting with them, deciding whether to return North of the Wall, really it's up to you. How much of Gilly and how much of Craster does this boy have in him?

4. I'm straight-up stealing someone else's idea. Reincarnation fic. Stannis/Davos, Willas/Oberyn, Selyse/Mel or any of my other preferred pairings or characters.

5. UST, "I swear I don't like you/your type/your gender" parade! Pick a pairing and have one person fight and fight and fight against their attraction to the other until they finally ... succumb.

6. Pick your favorite decade, war, or historical era, and put my favorites in it.

Art: (Recycling most of my prompts here)

1. Stannis/Davos anything. If you draw me my favorite OTP I'll print it out and put it on my Stavos shrine on my mantel. Yes, I have a Stavos shrine on my mantel. It's full of fanart and crochet dolls.

2. Thoros and Beric, the Kiss of Life.

3. Something romantic or sexual between show!Sansa/show!Margaery. (Dressing each other? Flirting in the garden? Kissing? Postcoital naked lounging?)

4. As in 6) above pick your favorite era, put the characters in it and show me what it would look like.

5. A character you've always wanted to illustrate but nobody has ever asked for them yet! From books, show, TWOIAF, or whatever you think you could do the best.

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art:
Don't make Stannis an irredeemable asshole.
