If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please try to have a little bit of variety in your prompts. It's perfectly okay to want only fic about a certain character or group of characters, but if all your prompts are smut for the exact same pairing, it may get really hard for your writer. Also, please don't request six incredibly rare pairings. Rare ships are very welcome, but I will have trouble finding someone who can write for you if you have six prompts with ships that literally no other participant offered to write (and similarily, I will have trouble finding a recipient for you if you only offer to write/draw pairings or characters that nobody requested). The same goes for extremely detailed prompts and crossover prompts: one or two of those are okay, but not six of them. As a general rule, please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by August 2nd. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

What genre of fic/art do you generally want? Whatever suits the author really. If I’m getting one of my preferred characters or pairings I’ll be happy!

Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:

1. Stannis realizes he made a grave mistake in trusting Melisandre but Davos is going to be there for his king no matter what. (Stannis/Davos)
2. After her father takes the iron throne, Shireen struggles to adjust to her new life in King’s Landing. (Basically S5E9 never happened!!!)
3. During Stannis’s time at the Wall, he called on Jon for other services. (Stannis/Jon)
4. A fic that explores a Dany and Tyrion friendship. Would they have battles of snark or how would Tyrion deal with Dany hiding the wine? (AU or Canon is fine. I just would love to see these two interacting.)
5. Shireen is smuggled out of the Wall in order to keep her safe. Years later, she is living a happy, simple life. What happens when she encounters Arya? (How she escaped is up to you. Perhaps Sam or Jon had a hand in it? Also if you’re up to it I’d love an Arya/Shireen fic)

Things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: If the story is angsty please no full out angsty or if fluffy no full out fluff. Try to find a good balance. Other than that I’m good.

Everything is FINE. she is safe and happy. And she gets a PONY.

(even if I don't get assigned your prompts, I may have to write that Tyrion-Dany conversation! Those scenes were seriously the best thing about this season...)
