If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult. Prompts should be starting points, not extremely detailed fic outlines. Try to have a bit of variety in your prompts rather than six prompts for the same pairing, especially if it's a rare pair. One or two crossover prompts are fine, but not six of them. Rare pairs are of course very welcome, but if you request only pairings that literally no other participant offered to write, I will have trouble assigning you. I reserve the right to ask you to add more offers or to edit your requests if there is no one who can write for you/no one you can write for by the end of the signup period.

If you don't want to post your email address here, just fill out the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address. Please sign up with an email address which you check regularly so I can reach you.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by September 11th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

Have you read (all) the books? Have you seen the show? Do you have any book vs. show preferences?: I have read the five books (really weak on pre-series) and I have seen the show. No preference. I’m stronger on the show, although I’d prefer to forget most of the show from season 4 on.

Characters and/or pairings you will NOT draw/write about: While I am happy to write about the following as background/minor characters, I’m not crazy about writing them as major ones: Theon, Ramsay, Jon, Sam, Theon/Ramsay, any of the Targaryens, Sam, Jon, Sand Snakes not crazy about the Greyjoys (excepting Asha). No Starkcest pairings, no Jon/Sansa, no Jon/Arya.

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw?: Modern AU, but no crossovers. Better at comedy, curtainfic, crack and fluff, but can do angst or character as well. If you get absolutely desperate I can try canon.

Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about: Ramsay (if he’s mentioned or background or killed off, fine), no Starkcest. No Petyr/Sansa. I'm not really interested in Jon, Targaryens, Greyjoys (excepting Asha). It’s fine if they’re background or minor characters.

I do like modern AUs, but canon is great too. No preference as to genre; as long as it’s not rape or torture porn, it’s all good.

Your pet peeves and other things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: No Starkcest, no incest (beyond what is specified in canon). No gender swapping. I would rather not have gratuitous torture. Please do not write me anything based on the show post-season 3.

While I prefer canon characterizations, I like the look of the show actors if that matters (and Show!Roose for his characterization all the way)..

Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:

1. We know in canon from Cersei’s POV chapter that little Tommen and Margaery have a wedding nights of sorts, although because he’s a child, there’s no sex. Instead, in addition to the bride and groom, there’s a bunch of Margaery’s friends and cousins and Jaime standing guard. What happens that night? (I mean it sounds like a giant slumber party to me). Write that for me. Fill in the scene. I’d kind of love it from Jaime’s POV (canon).
2. How about something in the mod au department where Davos starts dating Barbrey Dustin? How does this affect the relationship/dynamic he has with the rest of the Team Dragonstone crew—maybe Stannis is a politician trying to get elected? (I’m less about the specifics here and more about the dynamic).
3. Asha/Sansa – mod au. I’m kind of a sucker for university settings or lord help me, coffee shop aus, maybe they meet in class? Would like it if Sansa was aged up to over 18, ok? (you could keep Asha older. That dynamic might be cool).
4. Cersei is married to Roose after the Purple Wedding. (Maybe Tywin just wants her out of the way?). Neither is thrilled about the match, but somehow they make a go of it. Fine if Ramsay is in this, but no torture stuff and I wouldn’t mind it if he met his untimely end (canon).
5. Roose has to attend a Frey family reunion with Walda. I would love it if he has to spend some time with Lancel and/or Amerei. Feel free to amp the crack up on this. (mod au).
6. Wildcard – do something with either fake dating or an arranged marriage and pick from the characters I listed above and go to town (fake dating – mod au; arranged marriage - canon).
