If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."

If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.

Please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult. Prompts should be starting points, not extremely detailed fic outlines. Try to have a bit of variety in your prompts rather than six prompts for the same pairing, especially if it's a rare pair. One or two crossover prompts are fine, but not six of them. Rare pairs are of course very welcome, but if you request only pairings that literally no other participant offered to write, I will have trouble assigning you. I reserve the right to ask you to add more offers or to edit your requests if there is no one who can write for you/no one you can write for by the end of the signup period.

If you don't want to post your email address here, just fill out the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address. Please sign up with an email address which you check regularly so I can reach you.

Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by September 11th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.

Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this beta reader post.

1. What Happens at the Siege of Storm's End, Stays in Storm's End:
Stannis has just finished with supervising the rationing of the onions and salted fish that Davos had brought, and finally has the time to eat. Davos, in his deep admiration and sympathy for the young lord, decides to share his prized goods: dessert in the form of a bar of chocolate from Pentos. Stannis has never tasted chocolate before, so he has no idea that the side effect of the sudden boost his serotonin levels get is that it makes him feel really good, and incredibly horny. Cue shenanigans with Stannis doing siege things sexily while Davos and innocent bystanders get turned on, and Cressen doing everything short of ninja moves to keep Renly oblivious.

2. Minor character POVs are awesome:
I love the trope where the aggrieved loner character is unaware that he grows up observed and quietly cared for by people around him, who would have been his friends if not for his station. Basically, random people Stannis meets and how he leaves an impact on their lives and vice versa, and the gratitude from either side that could be expressed or not.

3. Give characters Disney princess traits:
Shireen is friends with talking household items. Stannis has a lovely and magical singing voice and a Secret Grotto where he keeps a vast treasure trove of objects, antiques, and artifacts (merman tail optional). Selyse used to have seventy feet long golden hair. Davos has a fairy godmother. I have no idea how to make a Mulan out of Jon Snow but I bet it would be awesome.

4. Spy (need not be modern) AU:
Because I imagine Steffon and Cassana are as badass as their children, no one suspects that the second Baratheon son was trained to be not only as an advisor to his older brother, but also as an inconspicuous and easily ignored secret operative of sorts. (Also, picture Stephen Dillane inflicting violence Jason Statham style. Go ahead, take your time.) It's while he's doing a transporter job that he meets the equally unnoticeable smuggler Davos. Cue shenanigans where they land each other in trouble and/or end up rushing to each other's rescue (sexy times optional).

5. Five Nice Things that Stannis Receives, Much to His Confusion, and the One Nice Thing that He Expected To Get:
Ordering his life around duty and justice, Stannis does not expect to have nice things, so when he does get such gifts, it confuses his worldview. When he does get what he expects, though, it is very gratifying. Stannis being either perplexed or smug can either be super sweet (e.g. a flower crown or a kiss on the cheek) or super hot (e.g. successful political maneuvering or a nice orgasm???) and would be just fun to read.

6. "Kings have no friends," or Stannis has no idea that he's friends with X:
(Well, you weren't king for most of your life, Stannis.) Imagining people proving Stannis wrong on this point is endlessly amusing for me, so speculate freely on the heartfelt or cracky options of friends Stannis could have had, and bonus points if all of them have to point out to Stannis that Davos is one of them.

Things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art: Anything terrible happening to Shireen is unacceptable! She is precious and must be protected at all costs.

(It was such a sassy line, and that's what I would've said in reply! I would literally pay to watch the One True King of Sass go on an all-out sass tournament with all the lovely ladies of Westeros, it's the entertainment gold!)

I confess I have secretly been collecting merman!Stannis fanart. (Saw 2 so far, and I think there's an unfinished fanfic too...)
